Faculty Profile

facultyDr. Bowen is the Lead Faculty for Business Administration, Management and Leadership Programs.  She has served as an Adjunct in the MBA program for 9 years.  The courses she taught were:  Business Environment, International Business and Strategic Management.

Prior to joining Franklin University as a full time faculty member, Dr. Bowen worked in the area of Healthcare.  She served in a variety of management and leadership roles.  Dr. Bowen currently serves on the board for 2 non-profit organizations, an IRB committee, and a peer-reviewer for a Global Business conference.  She is a member of the Academy of Management and Knowledge Management Society.

Dr. Bowen’s primary research areas are organizational learning, knowledge management, organizational culture and transformational leadership.  She earned her doctorate in Organization and Management and has presented on organizational learning, transformational leadership, cultural competence, creating a culture of learning, etc.
