Dr. Perry, Department Chair for the Computing Sciences and Mathematics Department, holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Connecticut, an M.S. in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, an M.A. in Mathematics from Indiana University, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross. He has an impressive career with years of experience in both academia and industry.
Just prior to joining Franklin University in September of 2012, he was an independent consultant and Affiliate Professor for the University of Maryland University College. His extensive resume boasts nearly 50 publications and 20 awards including the honor of SEI Carnegie Mellon University Industrial Affiliate. He presented his most recent proposal at the 2012 CMMI HM Measurement and Analysis Workshop. In addition to Dr. Perry’s expansive experience, he is very active in the community and has served on several boards including the Regional Environmental Council and the City Manager Advisory Council on the Disabled.
