Faculty Profile
Jane Sieberth is Assistant Chair of the undergraduate Computer Science program and Lead Faculty for Mathematics. She has over 30 years of experience teaching, developing, and overseeing mathematics and computer science courses at Franklin University. In addition to direct responsibilities for those courses and mentoring other faculty who teach them, Jane has been active in University service, currently as a member of the Faculty Senate Curriculum Review Committee. She also serves on the Dean’s Council for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology.
To support women in the computing majors, Jane has encouraged Franklin students to participate in such activities as the Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing conferences, and she has served as faculty adviser to the Franklin student chapter of ACM-W.
