Jane Sieberth is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Computing Sciences and Mathematics. Before retiring from the full-time faculty, Jane served as Assistant Chair of the undergraduate Computer Science program and Lead Faculty for Mathematics. She has over 35 years of experience teaching, developing, and overseeing mathematics and computer science courses at Franklin University. In addition to direct responsibilities for those courses and mentoring other faculty who taught them, Jane was active in University service, including serving as a member of the Faculty Senate Curriculum Review Committee. She also served on the Dean’s Council for the College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology.
To support women in the computing majors, Jane has encouraged Franklin students to participate in such activities as the Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing conferences, and she has served as faculty adviser to the Franklin student chapter of ACM-W.
Jane continues to contribute to the University via special projects and adjunct teaching.
