Faculty Profile

Dr. Martina Peng currently serves as the Program Chair of the Financial Planning Program at Franklin University.  Martina earned a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Ph.D. in Consumer Finance from the Ohio State University.

Dr. Martina Peng was awarded CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) by the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards Inc in September 2010.  The CFP designation is the most prestigious award in the financial planning industry.

Martina’s research interest focuses on individual and household financial decision-making, financial behavior analysis, and financial education policy.  Martina is an active member of the Financial Planning Association Central Ohio Chapter (FPA), a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP).
